NCC officials visit institutions

Shillong: Group Commander Brigadier PM Bali, NCC Group, Shillong, and Colonel Daljit Singh, Commanding Officer, 2nd Meghalaya Bn NCC, visited Buddha Bhanu Saraswati (BBS) College and Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School. They were welcomed by the principal of BBS college, Sanjay Rana.
In their address to the gathering, the officers lauded the institutions for showcasing the various NCC activities.
“The NCC is not only meant for joining the armed forces but for overall development of individual personality so that they can be better citizens of the country,” said PM Bali.
The Group Commander also held interactive sessions with Krishna Chauhan, former NCC cadet and expert member (Economics), Meghalaya State Planning Board, Associate NCC officer (ANO) JP Uppadhya, principal of Gorkha Pathshala Hr Sec School Puspa Biswa, and Sushil Ale, ANO.
