Kuki students donate blood in city

SHILLONG: Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO), Shillong Branch organised blood donation camp in collaboration with NEIGRIHMS.
The KSO organised the camp at the Kuki Worship Service Conference Hall at Sawlad in the city on Friday. The camp saw enthusiastic participation from members of the organisation.
The president of KSO Ngamjalun Haokip said around 54 people participated in the camp and 40 of them donated their blood.
The president called upon the youth and students to participate in the camp with enthusiasm and also encouraged the donors who participated in the camp. Members of Meghalaya AIDS control Society and Meghalaya State Blood Transfusion Council were also present.
The camp was launched with a formal invocation prayer by Rev. Seiminthang, Pastor, KWS(S).
