UK High Commissioner lauds Imphal cadets

Imphal: British High Commissioner to India Dominic Asquith lauded cadets of Sainik Schoo Imphal who exhibited their discipline, prowess and dedication while conducting various events related to the 75th anniversary of Battle of Imphal and Bishenpur district during the last two days. The young cadets performed all customary and military manouevres during laying of wreath and formal functions.
Dominic addressing a gathering of war veterans, economists and researchers from Japan and United Kingdom here last evening appreciated and commended the young N.C.C. cadets of Sainik School Imphal for their exemplary presentation in the event.
An alumnus, Ningombam Bupenda Meitei expressed happiness over the mentioning of his alma mater by the British High Commissioner to India and said that his speech was embedded with vision for North East India’s ties with Britain. (UNI)
