Rape accused convicted after 5 years

NONGSTOIN: The court of West Khasi Hills District and Sessions Judge has finally convicted a rape accused after 5 years.
The trial court on Monday sentenced Skoland Jyrwa to seven years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs.10000. 60-year-old Jyrwa had raped a minor at Mawjari village.
