OBCs deprived of jobs

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Other Backward Classes Association president RG Pradhan claimed that people from Other Backward Classes (OBC) were being deprived of their rights to employment.
He said that the OBCs candidates possess the requisite qualifications for the post but are deprived of getting employed for want of an OBC certificate.
He said that OBC candidates from the state were denied recruitment in the army and para-military forces for want of a certificate whereas outsiders were considered for the vacancies.
