Author George R.R. Martin, whose series of epic fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire was adapted into Game of Thrones, is moved by Chernobyl. ‘Binge-watched HBO’s Chernobyl. Terrifying, exciting, heartbreaking. If this one does not win a truckload of Emmys, there is no justice in Hollywood. And a special shout out to the talented Jared Harris for his amazing performance,’ Martin posted on Twitter. Chernobyl dramatises the story of the 1986 nuclear accident, one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history, and the cleanup efforts that followed. Apart from Harris, it has Stellan Skarsgård, Emily Watson and Paul Ritter leading the cast. (IANS)
