‘Pvt vehicles plying as commercial’

SHILLONG: Social worker, Disparsing Rani has claimed that there are a number of private vehicles that are plying on the road as commercial vehicles.
Addressing a press conference, he said that he downloaded an app, RTO Vehicle Info App and found out that taxis were actually registered as private vehicles.
With roads getting congested, he said that the police department should make use of the app. As for the taxi stickers, he alleged that the stickers can be bought at a rate of Rs 5000 to 6000.
