SHILLONG: The Vice Chairman of the State Level Public Grievances Committee, CB Syiem on Wednesday petitioned the Deputy Chief Minister in charge, PWD Prestone Tynsong urging him to strengthen and widen the PWD road from Nongpoh Umden to Sonapur road for the benefit of the people.
In a letter, Syiem said that the road is of great importance to the people of the area as it connects more than 100 villages and the inter-state road also connects to Assam.
