SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep A’chik National Movement (HANM) East Jaintia Hills has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and local coal miner Lber Laloo for lifting of the ban on coal mining.
In a statement issued here, the organisation conveyed its best wishes to the NPP headed by Sangma.
The state government had approached the Supreme Court to address the ban on coal mining by National Green Tribunal.
