Allegations
Wilber Danggo lodged a complaint stating that the families of Sengbath Chambugong and Etterson Ch Sangma; Dalseng Cheran and his wife including the president and Secretary of Mongri, Monsrang Mahari Association of Tura, gave false information and allegations about him to the police, media and social media with an intent to insult him and cause a scandal.

Drug bust
On Wednesday around 7:30pm, police apprehended one Tapan Pradhan in Rynjah, Shillong and recovered six and a half strips of Nitravet-10 weighing around 35.12 grams from his possession.

Fraud
A complaint was lodged stating that one woman from Hawakhana, Tura, obtained a false marriage certificate and filed for maintenance allowance for her and her children in a Tura Court.

Theft
Diwarson Nongrang lodged a complaint stating that on Wednesday, he discovered that one Aqua Guard valued around Rs 11,000 was missing from the Khasi Department, NEHU Campus in Mawlai.
Mahavir Prasad lodged a complaint stating that on July 2 around 1:30pm, three unidentified miscreants entered the cabin of a truck (PB-23M-8612) at Lad Iongkaluh NH-6 in East Jaintia Hills and attacked the driver Gunek Singh with a ‘dao’. They also looted Rs 8,000 from him.
Martha Rangsa Marak lodged a complaint stating that on Thursday around 4:30pm, while reviewing CCTV footage, she noticed one unknown person illegally entering her hostel in Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah.
