Govt allots districts to ministers to review projects

SHILLONG: The state government has allocated districts to the cabinet ministers for undertaking a systematic and periodical review of the various flagship programmes, according to commissioner and secretary, Programme Implementation and Evaluation Department.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong has been allocated East Khasi Hills, James PK Sangma, South West Garo Hills, A L Hek, West Garo Hills, S Dhar, Ri Bhoi, Comingone Ymbon, East Jaintia Hills, Metbah Lyngdoh, North Garo Hills, Lahkmen Rymbui, West Khasi Hills, Kyrmen Shylla, South Garo Hills, Banteidor Lyngdoh, East Garo Hills, Hamlet Dohling, South West Khasi Hills and Samlin Malngiang, West Jaintia Hills.
A minimum of one meeting per quarter is to be held in the districts allotted to the ministers in 2019-2020.
