NONGSTOIN: A man from Langlew village in West Khasi Hills committed suicide by hanging on the branch of a tree.
The deceased is identified as Srot Iawphniaw.
The villagers informed the police after spotting the body.
An FIR has been filed and the body has been handed over to the family after all legal formalities were done.
