SHILLONG: The state BJP has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for passing the triple talaq bill in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
In a statement on Thursday, the BJP spokesperson Basu Chakraborty said Narendra Modi government believes in the foot print of “sabka saat-sabka vikas-sabka biswas”.
BJP also believes in the theory of “one flag- one nation-one constitution”
The people of India have full faith in the Modi government as it already passed the triple talaq bill both in the upper and lower houses of the Parliament and in no time, the government will pass Article 370 and Article 35A in the Parliament too, he said.
