Freedom Ride 2019 in Jowai

JOWAI: West Jaintia Hills Superintendent of Police, Lakador Syiem has informed that Freedom Ride 2019 under the theme ‘Obey Traffic Rules – Ride with care, Life has no Spare’ will be held in Jowai as part of the 73rd Independence Day celebrations.
Syiem said that all bikers, two wheelers riders are invited to take part in the event.
Syiem further informed that the event is being organised by the West Jaintia Hills District Executive Force in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority West Jaintia Hills and supported by Royal Enfield Riders of Meghalaya Police.
Interested parties will have to report to Jowai Police Station at 12:30 pm.
Participations will not be issued POL as this is purely a voluntary initiative.
