Pension Adalat 
The Finance (Pension Cell) Department, Government of Meghalaya along with the Accountant General will organise a Nation-wide Pension Adalat on Friday from 10 am to 3 pm at the Yojana Bhavan Auditorium, Main Secretariat, Shillong to redress their grievances.

Application
Official transaction of the Meghalaya Nursing Council including registration of nurses and receiving of CNE Application are suspended from August 19 to September 12 due to preparation of the up-coming examination.

Health camp
The Meghalaya Hindu Mission will organise a free multi-specialty health camp (eye, dental, medicines, surgery, Ayurveda) on its premises on Saturday from 10:30 am onwards to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sri Sri Lord Krishna (Partha-Sarathi) in collaboration with the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Bansara Eye Hospital, North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy and in support of doctors from NEIGRIHMS.

Condolence
The members of Srimanta Sankardev Cultural Centre condoled the demise of Annada Charan Das, retired Headmaster of Shankardev Vidyapith L P School and Secretary of Bishnupur Naamghar in a meeting on Tuesday. Members recalled the valuable contribution of Das. The meeting observed two minutes silence and prayed to the almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

General meeting
The annual general meeting body of Asom Kristi Kendra Puja Committee, Shillong will be held on the premises of Asom Kristi Kendra at Stoney Land, Dhankheti at 4:30 on Saturday.
