ATM misuse
Lepstan R Marak lodged a complaint that on July 17, miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs. 11,960 from his Bank account through ATM and also used his account for transactions between July 2 and 5.

Break-in attempt
Nasim Uddin of Harisava Green View, Laban lodged a complaint that on July 4, around 7 pm, he received an anonymous call, wherein the caller identified himself as a member of FKJGP and informed that he would like to organise a meeting in his (complainant) house. On July 9, around 8 pm, the same person along with others went to his residence and attempted to forcibly enter his house. However, when the complainant prevented him from entering the house, the accused threatened him with dire consequences.

Vehicles stolen
On August 21, around 1.30 am, miscreants stole a motorcycle (ML-08B-2804) and scooty (ML-13-7989) belonging to Nathjing Ch Marak from his residence at Damas, Babupara, North Garo Hills.

Drugs seized
On August 21, around 3.45 pm, acting on inputs, Police intercepted one local taxi (ML-05R-1435) near Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong with three occupants Ribica Misao, Soilen Hajong and Surendra Banai. On searching the vehicle, police recovered 3,779 numbers of Amphetamines tablets weighing around 384.19 grams.

Burglary
Wilford Lyngdoh (40) lodged a complaint that on August 20, between 11 am and 1 pm, miscreants broke into his residence at New Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills and stole mobile phone, cash and household items.
Robbery
On the night of August 18, miscreants broke into the house of Mohidur Rahman at Islampur, Phulbari, West Garo Hills and stole Rs. 1,65,000 and gold ornaments. Rahman’s total loss was ascertained at Rs. 5,76,000.
