13, including girls, held

SHILLONG: As many as 13 people, including nine girls, were picked up by the police from Police Bazar area on Thursday night for creating nuisance.
The arrested persons were booked under Section 110 of the Meghalaya Police Act under which they were made to sign a bond.
The action came after the police witnessed several incidents along the stretch from Khyndailad up to Oakland Road on many an occasion causing inconvenience to others.
