SHILLONG: The Athletics Federation of India (AFI), in association with NESTLE MILO as a title sponsor, has unveiled the new look of the AFI’s flagship event – National Inter-District Junior Athletics Meet (NIDJAM), which started 17 years ago. The federation has thanked Adille J Sumariwalla, AFI president for his tireless efforts in cultivating new partnerships for NIDJAM, CK Valson, secretary general of AFI, for seamless execution of NIDJAM every year and the states and districts for making the meet a great success as one of the world’s biggest grassroots development programme. The new NIDJAM logo was unveiled on Friday by Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, IOA Presiden Narinder Batra, Adille J Sumariwalla, AFI president and Suresh Narayanan, Chairman/Managing Director, Nestle India.
