One-day training on social media and fake news will be held on August 27 at Police headquarters from 9 am onwards.

Bravery award
The Indian Council for Child Welfare, is inviting application to children for exemplary acts of bravery. The main criteria for the selection of candidates is the performance of a distinct and visible act of bravery in the face of an impending threat of injury or danger to life or an act of courage and daring against a social evil. Detailed information may be downloaded from http://eastkhasihills.gov.in. Applications should reach the office of the Deputy Commissioner, on or before September 30.

Applications re-invited
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills has re-invited applications for fresh appointments as Government nominees or agent in PDS from interested individual, NGOs, Cooperative Societies for the 2019 for Mawkneng Centre. Application form should reach the office of the Deputy Commissioner on or before the August 30, a press release issued here informed.
