NEHU Cross Country Run

SHILLONG: To commemorate the “National Sports Day” on the Birth Anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand Singh on the August 29, the Sports Department of the North-Eastern Hill University organised NEHU Inter College Cross Country Run (Men/Women) for affiliated colleges and Cross Country Run for Teaching, Non-teaching and Students of the University within the NEHU permanent Campus, Shillong. All together 210 participants took part in the program. The run was flag off by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, Prof. S. K. Srivastava, and Senior Most Professor of the North-Eastern Hill University Prof. N. S. Srivastav, Department of Economics, NEHU. The run ended with a closing ceremony. In Men Section of the NEHU Inter College Cross Country Run 2019, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong became the overall Champion. Where as in the Women section Nongstion College became the overall Champion.
