Synjuk meets CM over NH repair

NONGSTOIN: The Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong of Maweit Area accompanied by Mawshynrut MLA, Gigur Marthong met Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and urged him to speed up the detailed project report (DPR) of the National Highway from Nongstoin-Maweit to Nongjri for a distance of 75kms on Wednesday.
Secretary of the Synjuk, O Thongni in a press statement said that during the meeting with the Chief Minister, Chief Engineer of the PWD (RDS) was also present where he assured them that he will speed up the DPR accordingly.
Thongni also stated that the Synjuk was happy over the assurance made by Conrad that the road from Nongstoin to Maweit will be repaired soon until the implementation of the National Highway.
The Synjuk expressed their appreciation and thank Mawshynrut MLA and the Chief Minister for their support towards the people of Maweit.
