Liquor truck overturns in Nongpoh

Nongpoh: A truck laden with Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) overturned on the service lane of Nongpoh while on its way to Jowai on Saturday morning.
No injuries were reported but most of the liquor bottles were damaged.
The truck (AS01D1540) was being driven by Batskhemlang Pakma who was accompanied by two others.
Several cases of liquor were also stolen by unknown individuals who were present at the scene when the accident took place.
However, the timely arrival of police personnel prevented other onlookers from stealing the liquor.
