State girl gets support from Bollywood

SHILLONG: Aspiring singer from Meghalaya, Bateithymmai Nongrum got the opportunity to sing along with Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu.
In a statement issued here, All Meghalaya Dancer’s Association (AMDA) said that she is also getting trained under Bollywood music director, Dilip Dutta currently.
Nongrum is also preparing to collaborate with other singers. Dutta, in his telephonic conversation with AMDA president, Kitbok Thabah assured to help Nongrum as a Playback singer in Bollywood.
It may be mentioned that Nongrum was selected in Yes I am show.
