JOWAI: The District Level Inter-school Art and Culture Competition 2019, organised by the Society for Promotion of Tourism, East Jaintia Hills, Khliehriat in collaboration with the Office of the East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner, was held at Khliehriat West Community Hall on Tuesday.
RESULTS
Folk Song (group): Sacred Heart UP School (1st); Little Star UPS, Ladrymbai (2nd); Lumjingshai UPS, Tluh village (3rd). Folk Song (solo): Emika Sariang, Little Star UP School, Khliehriat (1st); Durkalisa Bareh, Sacred Heart UPS, La-myrsiang (2nd); Rosalin Lyngdoh of Khliehriat UPS, (3rd). English Song (solo): Medaihun Siangshai, Little Star UP, Ladrymbai (1st); Sufficient Maner, Sacred Heart UP, Lamyrsiang (2nd); Lutmon Bareh of Sacred Heart UPS, Lamyrsiang (3rd). Folk Dance (group): Elcy Khliehriat Muliar C&RD Block (1st); Shagun and Group, Sacred Heart UPS Lamyrsiang (2nd); Phishadalin Lyngdoh and Group, Khliehriat UP (3rd).
Instrumental: Federico War & his group of Sacred UP School, Lamyrsiang.
Art and Craft (Individual): Ram Phawa, Tepkyndait Govt. UP School, Tuberkmai Shnong (1st); Sonborn Bamon, Sutnga Govt. UP (2nd); Shilme Shadap, Sacred Heart UP, Lamyrsiang (3rd).
Painting competition: Sawani Nongtdu of Sacred Heart UP, Lamyrsiang (1st); Returning Siangshai of Little Star UP, Ladrymbai (2nd); Priyanka Phyrngap of Lumjingshai UP, Tluh (3rd).
