SHILLONG: The Autumn Session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly was prorogued sine die on Friday.
On the last day, the House passed a number of Bills and later there was the election of the Speaker in which Metbah Lyngdoh who is also the president of UDP was elected as the Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly by winning over Congress candidate Winnerson D. Sangma.
