NPP elects office bearers

SHILLONG: The National People’s Party (NPP) has finally found a place in Mawlai Constituency and has elected new office bearers during a meeting held at the Indoor Stadium in Mawlai Mawdatbaki on Saturday.
NPP state president WR Kharlukhi said that there is no doubt that the NPP will take away the majority votes in the 2023 general Assembly elections as the people are confidence in the party’s capabilities. He said that (L) Purno A. Sangma had envisioned unity amongst the tribal people in India in order to protect the interests and rights of the tribal populace.
The office bearers are NPP Mawlai Block president, NS Khongsngi and general secretary Ulrich Warjri. The women’s wing leaders are Rani Kurbah, general secretary Ethelyne Rynjah and others.
