Wellness Fest for citizens on Sept 28

SHILLONG: The Heartfulness Institute of Shillong will organise a ‘Wellness Fest’ and Dhyanotsav at Bangiya Shaitya Parishad, Jail Road, Police Bazaar on September 28.
Sushank Aggarwal, who is the zonal Coordinator for Meghalaya State of the Heartfulness Institute, informed that the institute, has its World Head Quarters at Kanha Shantivanam in Hyderabad. It is a non-profit organisation which is also known as Sahaj Marg, which works in the areas of spiritual and mental health and wellbeing.
The institute has its branches in more than 126 countries all over the world and is presently headed by Kamlesh D Patel, aka Daaji.
Sanjeev Deb, who is a trained coach of the institute, informed that the Heartfulness Institute focusses on attaining a happy balance in the normal life between material and spiritual growth and between worldly chores and mental fitness.
The Heartfulness Institute has conducted similar trainings and workshops in the Indian Parliament, Airforce, Armed Forces, Para Military forces, CBI, NSE and BSE, IITs and IIMs and various medical and engineering colleges across the country.
