The Sub Divisional School Education Officer in West Garo Hills has informed that MDM Rice has been released from September 17 as 2nd quarter for July, August and September for students of LP and UP schools.
Workshop
A one-day workshop on medicinal plants for registered farmers/beneficiaries/local practitioners besides others was held on September 13 at SMELC Building, Dakopgre, Tura. It was organised by State Medicinal Plant Board, Meghalaya, Shillong and Social Forestry Division, West Garo Hills, Tura.
Patrolling
The Jaiaw Lumbatemon Block Committee held a meeting recently to discuss about the ill habits arising in the society now especially the drug scenario in the state. The block decided to go for patrolling around the locality from September 23.
