Helpline number for passengers

SHILLONG: The Nongpoh Sumo Owners and Driver Association have introduced a toll-free helpline number for the convenience of passengers.
F Nongrum, general secretary NSODA, said that the number is pasted inside and outside the commercial vehicles registered with the association plying from Byrnihat, Nongpoh, Umsning, Mawhati and Shillong.
The passengers can complain to the association for any discomfort faced while travelling such as over-speeding, risky-overtaking, misbehavior, drunken driving etc.They can complain with optional language English and Khasi to look into this matter.
