Lummawbah organises cleaning drive

SHILLONG: A cleaning drive was organised in Lummawbah on Wednesday. Residents from different walks of life actively participated in cleaning their localities which was followed by tree plantation.
The Dorbar Shnong of Lummawbah said that it has a mission to transform the locality into Mawlynnong which claims to be the cleanest village in Asia. The women organisations of Lummawbah also gave away cloth bags to the residents.
Local MLA and Cabinet Minister Hamlet Dohling and BDO of Mylliem PT Passah were also present.
