DDK quiz
Doordarshan Kendra, Shillong will begin to telecast the second season of the Sain Pyniar Inter-School Quiz Competition every Saturday and Sunday at 8pm beginning on October 5.It will feature 39 teams drawn from 20 schools of Shillong.
Office bearers
The Dorbar Kur of Lyndem/Ryndem clan held on Saturday at Ing Dorbar Shnong Mawkdok, has elected office bearers of the clan for 2019-2021. The president is Dr Samuel R Lyndem, Glamour S Lyndem (vice-president), Tennyson Lyndem (adviser), Silverstar Lyndem (general secretary), Treatchell Lyndem and Palei Lyndem (asst. general secretary), Hannah C Lyndem (treasurer). Ten executive members and members of sub-committees were also formed.
