Kickboxers bring laurels

SHILLONG: The MAKO (Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organisations) team brought laurels to the state by winning a total of 12 medals in the recently concluded National Kickboxing Federation Cup held at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand held from October 17 to 20.Gold Medalists are Lorenza Songthiang -54 Kg, Sachin Rai -48Kg, Elton Skhemlang Swer -54Kg, Fulab Kanti Barman -70 Kg. The silver medal winners are Roshan Sunar -57Kg, Mewanshanlang Kharsyiemiong -26 Kg. The participants who won bronze medals are Lokhi Rabha -54 Kg, Samuel Mukherjee -54 Kg, Nangkhraw Kharsyiemiong  -20Kg, Krishna Barman -28 Kg, Rudolf Sohtun -17 Kg.
