Sensitisation on Income Tax procedures in Tura

TURA: The Income Tax Office, Bongaigaon, in collaboration with the West Garo Hills District Administration organised an outreach programme at DRDA Conference Hall in Tura on Wednesday, in which Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramakrishna Chitturi, PD, DRDA and ADC, WGH, C N Sangma and others were present.
In his address, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range Bongaigaon, Rani Lama informed the gathering that the purpose of the programme is to make people aware of the income tax deductions, e-filing, amongt others.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, Z J Sangma informed that the programme was organised by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Government of India in coordination with District Administration, West Garo Hills. Others who were present included Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Bongaigaon, Dipankar Bhattacharjee and Inspector of Income Tax, TDS, Guwahati, Moses Haokip
