Autumn fest
Due to the cyclone warning issued by the Meteorological Department of India and in the interest of public safety, the organisers has decided to postpone the Shillong Autumn Festival 2019 to November 2 and 3. However tickets that have been sold/issued for October 26 & 27 will remain valid for the new dates respectively.
Fete
The annual fete of Khliehriat West Youth Welfare Sports Club has been postponed to November 8 and 9. DJ night, Miss and Prince Khliehriat will be held respectively.
Suranjana
Suranjana is presenting Bengali devotional sons on Mother Kali, ‘Akash Kali’, ‘Bhuban Kali’, on the occasion of Kali Puja at Matri Mandir, Polo on Sunday from 7 pm.
Trial run
A trial run of new GST return system in Form ANX – I & II’ will be organised at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes from October 28 to 30 from 11 am. The trial run for tax payers will be held according to their jurisdiction, on October 28 at the Superintendent of Taxes Circle – I & II, Shillong; on October 29 at the Superintendent of Taxes Circle – III, IV & V, Shillong and on October 30 at the Superintendent of Taxes Circle – VI, VII & VIII, Shillong.
