Nagaland House celebrates golden jubilee

SHILLONG: Nagaland House, Shillong celebrated its Golden Jubilee under the theme ‘Home Away From Home’ in the city on Saturday.
Home Minister James Sangma graced the occasion as the special guest along with Zhaleo Rio, advisor sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs, Govt. Of Nagaland as the jubilee patron.
Nagaland House which is located in Nongrim Hills was established in the year 1969 in order to provide accommodation to visiting VIPs, VVIPs, government official and to the general public.
Nagaland House is headed by the Assistant Resident Commissioner (ARC) and also serves as a Modal Officer for NEC and as a Liaison centre for the state in all the official matters with the Government of Meghalaya and Central offices in Shillong.
