National seminar
A two-day National Seminar on Cultural and Linguistic Studies in North East India will be organised at Sankardev College, Shillong and sponsored by MAKAIAS on October 30 and 31. The seminar is organised by the Department of Languages of the College. P B O Warjri, Chief Information Commissioner, Government of Meghalaya will be the chief guest. A number of research papers from various Colleges and Universities will be presented by the researchers during the seminar days.
General meet
The general body meeting of the Meghalaya Optometric Association for 2019 will be held at Bansara Institute of Ophthalmic Sciences, Lady Veronica Lane, Laitumkhrah Shillong at 4 pm on October 30. All members are requested to attend the meeting. Optometrist [BS Optometry] working in Meghalaya are also welcome to join the meeting.
