Thangkhiew now acting CJ

SHILLONG: After the High Court of Meghalaya Chief Justice Ajay Kumar Mittal relinquished his post on Thursday following his transfer, the President of India on Friday appointed Justice Hamarsan Singh Thangkhiew, Judge of the Meghalaya High Court, as the acting Chief Justice.
Mittal was transferred as Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
