SHILLONG: The Dorbar Shnong Urkaliar has sent a letter to its residents and shop owners to donate fund to procure a garbage truck which costs Rs 7,84,063.
To collect the said amount of fund, the dorbar has requested owners of teer counters, wine stores, shopkeepers and house owners to contribute for the cause.
The Dorbar Shnong will hold a meeting on November 16 at 9 am at the house of the village headman to discuss on the matter.
