MLA reviews devp schemes

TURA: Chairman of District Planning and Development Council (DPDC) Baghmara and local MLA Rakkam A Sangma, on Monday, reviewed both the state and the centrally sponsored schemes of all the departments at NIC Conference Hall in the presence of Chokpot MLA Lazarus M Sangma, MDC Sengnal N Sangma and Deputy Commissioner HB Marak.
During the meeting, the Draft Annual Plan for the year 2020-21 was also presented by the line departments where questions on developmental activities and ongoing projects were raised and suggestions on proper implementation of the schemes were made by the MLA.
Lazarus M Sangma, Chokpot MLA, in his opening remark, said that the meeting is meant to ensure coordination among all the departments in the formulation and implementation of schemes and to identify the limiting factors for the speedy and efficient implementation of the schemes.
