Spices Board member takes part in natl meet

SHILLONG: Sen Thabah, a member of the Spices Board of India, took part in the 86th general meeting of the board which was held on Saturday in Kochi, Kerala.
Thabah stressed on improving transportation in order to ensure that assistance is given to farmers in villages.
He also said that presently, the board has provided only one vehicle for the entire North Eastern region.
He also proposed that the board should have stock facilities and cold storages in markets to store ginger and turmeric.
