Unpaid amount
T Khongsni lodged a complaint that one Nibida Maram Bora booked his Guest House at Mawlynnong village, East Khasi Hills on November 12 and 13 for his clients from Mumbai for Rs. 68,000. However, till date he has not paid the amount.

On the run
Rich B Mawrie lodged a complaint that one Anichur Ali took Rs 3,20,000 from him for tiles-fitting work at Lumkhyriem, Nongthymmai. However, the accused fled away without completing the work.
Arunabh Das lodged a complaint that one Anirban Bose took his vehicle on rent. However, the latter failed to pay the rent as per the agreement and fled away to Kolkata along with the vehicle.

Theft
George L Wankhar lodged a complaint that on Wednesday around 5 am, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05P-9502) from Lower Nongrimmaw.
SR Vanlalnghaka lodged a complaint that on Wednesday around 7 pm, unknown miscreants broke into his house at Jingkieng, Springside, and stole one laptop and mobile phone.
Abul Kalam Azad lodged a complaint that on Monday unknown miscreants broke into his house at Nayagaon Gomaijora village, WGH, and stole gold ornaments and one mobile phone, valued around Rs 1,26,800.
