NONGSTOIN: One arrested for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl in West Khasi Hills.
The accused person identified as Solomon Wanniang (21) of Nongkaniang, Nongstoin was apprehended by the police for sexually assaulting a minor.
An FIR has been filed by the mother of the victim on December 8 alleging that in the month of November, Wanniang had sexually assaulted her daughter.
It is learnt that the accused had repeatedly sexually assaulted the minor girl in four occasions and threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the matter to anyone, the police said.
