GHADC case hearing put off

SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has postponed the hearing on the GHADC case to Friday.
The matter was partly heard on Wednesday.
A petition was filed by the Congress-led alliance to continue the session in GHADC to take up the listed no-confidence motion after the chairman of KHADC Denang Sangma abruptly adjourned the House. The members of the ruling alliance walked out before the chairman adjourned the House following the election of deputy chairman Mettrinson Momin, who defeated the candidate of the ruling alliance.
