Meet on CAA, ILP
The chief executive member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Latiplang Kharkongor, has issued notices to all traditional heads of various Hima, Raid and Dorbar Shnong that a meeting will be held on December 21 to discuss the demand to implement Inner Line Permit, oppose the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and strengthen the provisions of the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
Service extended
The state cabinet on Tuesday extended the service of Director of Sainik Welfare Board Col Gautam Kumar Rai. The extension of service will be for another 2 years.
Prog postponed
The grand musical fiesta scheduled on December 14 at U Soso Tham Auditorium has been postponed till further notification.
