SHILLONG: The Christmas organising committee of NEIGRIHMS along with the Rotary Club of Shillong conducted the pre-Christmas celebrations on the institute premises on Tuesday, in which various groups enthralled the audience with Christmas hymns.
Former Chief Secretary of Meghalaya Barkos Warjri was the special invitee for the occasion.
Altogether 54 children from both the Hindu orphanage and Jaiaw orphanage were invited to celebrate the occasion. They were presented with Christmas gifts and food. The district governor 3240 of the Rotary Club, Debashish Das spoke on the function.
