Attempt to murder
Makklan Kharbani lodged a complaint that on December 16 around 1 am, a group of miscreants led by Sylvester Sanglein, his brother and five others, forcibly entered inside his residence at Raibah in South West Khasi Hills and attempted to murder the complainant’s wife namely Albino Snaitang by stabbing her with a dagger. As a result, the victim sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong.

Vehicles stolen
L. Thabah lodged a complaint that on the night of December 18-19, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05L-2737), which was parked on the roadside at Nongrimmaw, Block-A, Shillong.
Rajesh Shaw lodged a complaint that on December 16 around 2 am, miscreants stole his motorcycle from his residence at Boiragipara village South West Garo Hills.
On December 10, miscreants damaged one vehicle (AS-01E-3782) at Nengkong market South Garo Hills.

Man duped
Donnywell Puwein lodged a complaint that on July 13, 2018, two persons namely Montu Pegu and Rajesh Saini requested him to invest money in Multi Level Marketing online business for a total amount of Rs. 35,27,700. However, till date the complainant has not received any payment as agreed.

Theft
Dr. Shakil Ahamed, Principal Secretary, Government of Meghalaya lodged a complaint that on December 18, between 8.30 am and 8.45 am, miscreants stole his jacket, three mobile phones and a bag, which he kept on a motorcycle near 2nd Ground, Polo, Shillong.

Miscreants demand fuel
Chandra Mohan Tiwari, Manager of M/s Perfect Fuelling Centre, Hallidayganj West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on December 15 around 7.15 pm, miscreants in two two-wheelers (Scooty & Motorcycle) demanded fuel from the staff of the Filling Centre. However, when the staff refused, one of the miscreants damaged the fuelling machine.

One assaulted
Intas Ali of Thakuranbari, Mankachar, Assam lodged a complaint that on December 15 around 7 am, while his nephew Sarnath Ali was looking after his own vegetable garden at Rangapani village South West Garo Hills, four persons, identified as Asmoth Ali, Sayed Ali, Fokirchand and Zinarul Islam, forcibly snatched away the bamboos from the vegetable garden and also assaulted him.

Timber looted
Chairman of Mawlieh Clan, Steplanglur village West Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that on December 13 around 4 am, some miscreants in two trucks-ML-06-1971 and ML-06-9686 stole around 800 Cubic of timber logs from Mawphansin forest, which belonged to the Mawlieh Clan.
