SHILLONG: During the 7th Ardhendu Chaudhuri day & night tennis ball cricket tournament played at the Rilbong Sanatan Hindu Dharmasabha premises, four matches were held on Tuesday. In the first match played between Lumparing Gorkha Boys and Moonlight, Lumparing Gorkha won by 19 runs. Lumparing Gorkha winning the toss batted first and scored 67 in 6 overs. In reply Moonlight made 48 in 6 overs. In the second match played between Aparajita and Rising CC, Aparajita registered win by 4 wickets. Winning the toss, Rising CC batted first and scored 33 runs in 6 overs, in reply Aparajita scored 34 runs in 6 overs. In the third match played between, Young Guns and Diamond Club, Young Guns won by 34 runs. Young Guns batted first and scored 67 runs in 6 overs, in reply Diamond Club could manage only 33 runs in 6 overs. In the fourth match played between, Cluster and Royal CC, Royal CC won by 30 runs. Cluster winning the toss elected to field first. Royal CC scored 70 runs in 6 overs, however, Cluster could manage to score only 40 runs in 6 overs.
