CK Nayudu Trophy

Shillong: Meghalaya failed to survive with the bat against Bihar and went down by an innings and 239 runs in their U-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy match in Patna on Sunday.
At the end of the second day on Saturday, Meghalaya had been dismissed for 99, 390 runs behind Bihar’s first innings score of 489.
Bihar enforced the follow-on and Meghalaya picked up the bat again.
This time Meghalaya reached triple figures but were all out for 151. Yogesh Tiwari top-scored with 33. Three more batsmen – Anish Charak (29), Gurmehr Chona (25) and Roshan Warbah (24) – all got into the twenties but no one could push on.
