Rising CC, Pynthorbah, ICCA register victories

SHILLONG: Shillong Press Club succumbed to another humiliating loss as Rising CC thrashed Shillong Press Club by 49 runs in the first match of the day. Rising CC winning the toss, batted first and scored 76 runs in 6 overs, in reply Shillong Press Club could only manage 27 runs in 6 overs.
In the second match of the day, Pynthorbah SC beat Victoria by 4 wickets. Victoria batted first and scored 30 runs in 5 overs. In reply, Pynthorbah SC scored 31 runs in 5.3 overs.
In the third match of the day, Diamond Club beat Dishoom Club by 28 runs. Diamond Club batted first and scored 78 runs in 6 overs, in reply Dishoom scored 50 runs in 6 overs.
In the fourth match, Cluster beat RS & CC by 17 runs. Cluster scored 43 runs in 6 overs batting first, as RS & CC could only manage 26 runs in 6 overs.
In the fifth match of the day, ICCA beat Trapstar Utd by 6 wickets. Trapstar batting first scored 47 runs in 6 overs, in reply ICCA scored 48 runs in 6 overs. In the sixth match, Rising CC beat All Boys Club by 5 wickets. All Boys Club batted first and scored 26 runs in 6 overs, in reply Rising CC easily chased down the score and made 27 runs in just 4.3 overs.
In the seventh match, Pynthorbha registered win over Sales XI by 3 wickets. Sales XI batted first and scored 35 runs in 6 overs, in reply Pynthorbha reached the target in just 5 overs.
In the last match of the day, Cluster beat Diamond Club by 2 wickets. Diamond Club batted first and scored 25 runs in 6 overs, in reply Cluster scored 27 runs in 6 overs.
