SHILLONG: In a 20-hour long operation, a joint team of Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) , East Jaintia Hills and Khliehriat Police Station seized YABA/WY/Amphetamine tablets worth Rs two crores besides more than 3 lakh ml of IMFL.
East Jaintia Hills SP, Vivekanand Singh informed that 91,000 YABA/WY/Amphetamine tablets weighing approx. 8.6 Kilograms with street value of Rs. 2 crores and 3,88,500 ml of IMFL were recovered from an Agartala-bound truck at Khliehriat on Thursday morning.
Two persons were also arrested and identified as Pritish Nath and Rabindra Sinha, both hailing from North Tripura
A case has been registered and investigation is going on
